Social Media Campaign

Task

The Communication unit under the third Northern Uganda Social Actions Fund (NUSAF3) tasked Haptech International Limited to set up various social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). But also to temporarily manage the platforms for a period of one month to promote their services online.

Work Done

Collaborated with the NUSAF3 team, internal and external stakeholders to developed and determined impactful social dynamic content.

Adapted all content to the unique requirements best practices for each social platform. We posted and responded on particular topics taking advantage of the best times to create engagement. Mostly, we moderated and responded to some of the questions raised by community members and worked with the NUSAF3 team to facilitate compelling answers.

Owned the responsibility of effectively engaging visitors, including guiding communities on NUSAF3 social media accounts with confidence while using humorous but polite and non-abusive language.

Responded to stakeholder inquiries and comments in real time with the support of, and in consultation with, the NUSAF3 team. Simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced social media environment in real-time.

We took a step ahead to seek out, embrace and identify innovative ways to amplify NUSAF3 services through connecting with and activating key social influencers to promote the work. In addition, monitored growth in number of followers and likes by creating sharing compelling and engaging content.

Took the responsibility of collecting, packaging as well as providing strategic recommendations through quarterly social media reporting analytics for the respective platforms.

Facebook

We created an integrated social strategy for NUSAF3 that included social channel development on popular social networks, along with their maintenance through postings, shares followed by an increase in fan base through campaigns along with accurate monthly reports for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube related accounts.

Twitter

Twitter is a micro blogging platform that enables the digital team to update the audiences on NUSAF3 news. Twitter analytics provides weekly and monthly stats on the page’s performance. Below is a summary of the page’s performance.

YouTube

YouTube, just like the rest of the other social media platform, is one of the best ways to capture NUSAF3’s projects on video. With this (NUSAF3 UG) channel, the viewers are able to relate more with the project. Videos in relation to the project are uploaded and then links are shared on our various social media platforms for views hence people getting information about the project.
