Upgrade of Ministry of Public Service Email and Domain Setup

Haptech International was tasked by the Ministry of Public Service to transition all the Ministry Windows Active Directory Domain Servers and Windows Mail Exchange Servers to the latest Windows release with improved architecture, to ensure that there are no conflicts and synchronize backup servers for high availability.

Key Deliverables

  1. Backing up of three Microsoft Servers with all configurations, users profiles, ADDS and email
  2. Supply and Install three licensed Microsoft Server 2016
  3. Configure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
  4. Configure DNS and DHCP with high availability services for 326 users
  5. Install new Email Server, install Exchange Mail Server 2016 and Exchange Server Upgrades with high availability and site resilience
  6. Configure ADDS domain and Exchange Services, MS Outlook access and OWA
  7. Migrate back original data:
    • Import all original configurations, users profiles, ADDS and email
    • Ensure proper configurations for all applications, security and access,
    • Ensure no configuration or access conflicts
  8. Check, setup and verify all user computers and devices (326)
